Where we began
A family connection. A Moroccan beginning.
Our story begins with a family connection to a saffron farm in Taliouine, Morocco. The farm belongs to our founder’s uncle.
Star Saffron grew from a simple wish: to share the beauty of Moroccan saffron with kitchens across the United States. We want more people to discover this origin: its colour, its aroma, and the possibilities a few threads bring to the table.
At harvest time
From flower to thread.
A closer look at harvest time on the family farm: flowers in the soil, people gathering them by hand, and freshly picked purple blooms. The story continues in our signature tin.
